Western Gift Card Holder

Western gift card holder [640x480]I made this giftcard holder from a very vanilla SU envelope and some designer series paper. I also used some hemp, the star punches, word window punch, mat pack, Night of Navy ink pad, marker and sponges.

I sponged colour on the envelope first then punched the shapes through both layers. Insert a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" piece of DPS or card stock. Put a little bit of glue or snail beside the area where your gift card will go to keep everything from shifting around. Seal your envelope. Your shapes show on the back as well so you can decorate it with "hand stamped" or " to and from".

What a clever idea!

I'm a little confused. Do you only put in one piece of DSP? If not, how does the gift card not show through on one side (through the shapes punched through both sides)?

What a cute idea - love the jeans effect!

Great stitching. It is really cute.
