It's been a busy summer. It always flies by so quickly. Although I've been spending more time stamping this summer than usual I realized that I haven't posted anything in a while. I've mostly been planning classes and working on my samples so this weekend I decided to just stamp for fun. Every time I do that I remember why I love stamping.
Here's one of the cards I made. It started out as a little clump of white embossed flowers on Whisper White card stock and grew from there. I rubbed over the embossing with Marina Mist ink and a stamping sponge. Surprisingly the inside areas of the flowers didn't pick up as much of the ink as I thought they would so I was able to add some color with Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz markers. I added a shadow to the cluster with a Dapper denim Marker and stamped some splotches with Marina Mist ink. The sentiment was stamped on a 3/4" strip of Whisper White using Dapper Denim and the ends were punched with the Triple Banner Punch.
