Beautiful watercolour projects are popping up everywhere and it always makes me want to break out my paints and brushes again. Fortunately I don't have to dig into my old art supplies to get my fix; I have everything I need in my stamp room.
I spritzed some watercolour paper with water and used an Aquapainter to apply some ink from my stamp pads. The colours are Stampin' Up's Sweet Sugarplum, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight. After the paper dried thoroughly I stamped the words with Versamark ink and embossed with White Embossing Powder.
The words didn't stand out as much as I would've liked so I traced along side of the letters with a Sweet Sugarplum marker. I wasn't very precise but once I spritzed the paper again the colour blended into the background and softened the lines. Any marker I got on the embossing wiped right off with a tissue.
