Stocking Gift Card Holder

This is a quick and easy gift card holder I designed for our Christmas SAS class. I used the Petite Pocket die, the Holiday Stocking die and the Stocking Accents die (all from Stampin' Up). I love using the big shot when you have to prep over 100 cards.

To make this gift card holder cut a stocking from DSP and one stocking with toe, heel and cuff from White card stock. Cut a petite pocket from white card stock and cut it off at the scoreline. You can download the class handout  Download Stocking Gift Card Holder for instructions on how to assemble your gift card holder. Graduation Gift Card Holder

Here’s one more gift card holder in time for Graduation. I used one of Stampin’ Up’s small open end envelopes (6 ¾” x 2 ½”). You can buy cheap envelopes in this size but since the envelope is the base of your gift card holder go for quality.  Score the bottom of your envelope at 2”, fold and punch the bottom edge with the scallop border punch to hold your gift card. Cut a 4 ¼” x 3” mat for the card insert and a piece of White 4” x 2 ¾”. I used the Round Tab punch for the tab.

The cap is 3 ½” square. Here's a video on how to make the tassel. I used crochet cotton for this one but I prefer the new baker’s twine for the tassels. It hangs so much nicer.

Masculine Gift Set

I was asked to be a guest designer for U Stamp with Dawn and Friends. This is my first project made with the #2 Box die. The color combo is Chocolate Chip, Perfect Plum, Marina Mist and Sahara Sand. Stamp Sets: More Monkey Accessories and Sincere Salutations. I also used the square latice embossing folder for the inlaid embossed panels. I found the chocolate cell phone at a local chocolate factory. It fit perfectly in Stampin' Up's small cello bag. Here's the tutorial Download Masculine Gift Set

Photo Card

I've been seeing a lot of requests for photo cards so I thought I would start posting a few. Here's a simple one made with the medallion stamp. Scroll down for the video tutorial.

Holly Jolly

I've been working on some projects for a stamp camp using the Jolly Holiday Designer Series paper and the Holly Jolly rub-ons and I'm determined to use up every scrap. Here are a couple of the projects so far.

Stamp-a-Stack Planners

If you’re too busy to plan a Stamp-a-Stack class or don’t know where to start, these Stamp-a-Stack planners will make it easy.

Each card has a two page document. The first page contains a photo of the card and step by step instructions to make the card so you can print it out and post it for your customers to follow.

The second page is the Supplies and Prep List. Print this page to use as a checklist to prepare for your Stamp-a-stack.

Bunny Envelope

 

Easter dinner is at my house this year so I made these little treat envelopes for the kids.  I used the 3”x3” envelopes, cut the top off and decorated the top with a ¾” strip of DSP.  I used my Scallop Oval die to make the ears. Cut an oval then fold it in half lengthwise placing the folded side along the oval edge to cut the other side of the ear. The face is made from punches

Flower: Boho Blossoms

Cheeks: 1 ¼” Circle

Eyes: Extra Large Bird Punch & ½”Circle

Nose: Heart to Heart

Teeth: Double Rectangle

Mouth: ½” Circle

Designer Series Paper Class

I’m so excited to show you my next online class...a collection Designer Series Paper projects. It took me longer than I anticipated (I’ve been working on it since Christmas) but I think you’ll be happy with the projects.

   

Here are the details......

All 50 of the items pictured are made from ½ of the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack. One sheet of each design was used so you can make 2 of every project (100 in all) or split a pack between two people if using these projects for classes. I’ve used additional current Stampin’ Up Supplies.

  

The Sweet Pea DSP is no longer available but you can still make all of these projects using your favorite new DSP

Degree of Difficulty

The projects range in difficulty. Some are easy enough to use for a workshop make & take and others are challenging enough for the seasoned stamper.  Since I will be posting all of the tutorials at once, you can mix and match the projects to fit your needs.
