This is my submission for Shelli's Season of Thanks Challenge. My family is what I'm most thankful for. I made this photo display for my sister and included some of my favorite family photos and embellished this project with sewing notions I inherited from my grandmother. The rest is from the Stampin' Up Holiday Collection Stampin' Kit.
After I removed all of the pieces of chipboard to make gifts and ornaments I hated to throw the scraps away. The chipboard frames are hinged with ribbon so it folds up flat for storage in the 12x12 craft keeper that was included with the kit. To make this project you'll need your scraps from the holiday collection kit and some coordinating card stock. I also used the 1 3/4" circle punch.
The photos are suspended on invisible thread and the ornaments dangle freely. The Designer Series Paper is already cut to the shape of the frame making this a quick and easy project. Turn your circle punch upside down and look at your scraps through the punch's window. You'll find some interesting shapes to decorate your ornaments.
