Stitched Stocking Stamp Class

I love Stampin’ Up’s Stitched Stocking Stamp set and coordinating Stocking Builder punch.  Both of these products are available in the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalogue but they aren’t just for the holidays. I’ve put together instructions for 30 cards and projects using the stocking punch and stamp set.  These projects can be used throughout the year and include cards for occasions such as Birthday, Anniversary, Get Well, Retirement, Fourth of July, Autumn and Halloween.  

The instructions include full color photos with step by step instructions for all 30 projects. Stinky Socks

Did you ever make a card that had you laughing the whole time you were working on it? This was one of those cards. I already had the snickers but when I went to look for a sentiment I pulled out Teeny Tiny Wishes and the first two sentiments I read were "thank you" and "for your shower". At that point I lost it. I laughed so hard DD came to check why her disturbed mother was laughing hysterically all alone in her stamp room. Good thing she has my sense of humor.

Not sure I can find a recipient who would appreciate this card so I think I’ll just keep it around for laughs and make a less offensive version for the Stocking Punch Class I’m working on.

I'm Back...

...and unpacked. Well sort of but who needs clothes and dishes when you have stamps. Thanks for being so patient. I’m still not completely organized but here’s one of the cards from the Stitched Stocking class I’ve been working on. I had lots of time to sketch out ideas over the last couple of months so it’s great to finally try some of them.

This card is made using the polka-dot stocking from the Stitched Stockings Stamp Set (say that fast 3x) and the new stocking punch.  The colors are Cajun Craze, Old Olive, Pumpkin and Daffodil.
