Feathered Friends Pet Ornament

My Stitched Stocking Online Class included a couple of punch art ornaments for our four legged friends. Here's one for the bird lovers out there. I used the Language of Friendship and Tags til Christmas stamp sets. The berries were made by stamping the largest flower from the Language of Friendship stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and punching it out with the circle punch from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack then sponging around the edges with Cherry Cobbler. I coated them with Crystal Effects after I had them glued into place.

Stinky Socks

Did you ever make a card that had you laughing the whole time you were working on it? This was one of those cards. I already had the snickers but when I went to look for a sentiment I pulled out Teeny Tiny Wishes and the first two sentiments I read were "thank you" and "for your shower". At that point I lost it. I laughed so hard DD came to check why her disturbed mother was laughing hysterically all alone in her stamp room. Good thing she has my sense of humor.

Not sure I can find a recipient who would appreciate this card so I think I’ll just keep it around for laughs and make a less offensive version for the Stocking Punch Class I’m working on.

Stitched Stocking Booties

These booties were part of the onstage convention demonstration for the Stocking Builder punch and Stitched Stockings stamp set. I was too excited about having this set in my hot little hands to think about taking photos of the cards they made so here's my version of the baby booties. I stamped the stocking in Pretty in Pink, punched it out and cut it off below the scalloped cuff then reattached it to the stocking. For the background I used one of the doily stamps and stamped the card base until it was covered. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Stitched Stocking Hobby Horse

Here's another card made with the stitched stocking stamp set and punch. This is such a cute set. I can't put it down. I used a So Saffron marker to draw on the horse's mane. The stocking is stamped in basic grey and punched out. I used the heel for the ear.  

Christmas in July

WhoHoo! 3 Cheers for Prize Patrol!!! I won this stocking stamp set and punch at convention. It's in the upcoming Holiday mini and it's the cutest set ever. It's has several patterned stockings and a coordinating punch so you don't have to cut them out. The bricks on this card are punched from the stocking cuff. The flames are the bird wing from the 2-step bird punch and the accents for the flame are the stocking heel. Can't wait to do some more punch art with this punch.
