As promised, here's a video showing how to make the slider card I posted last week. I used a cupcake on this sample so I could enter it in the So Shelli Challenge. I got the color combo from the Color Coach; Melon Mambo, Wild Wassabi and Pacific Point. Anyone else ready to move onto Spring? Here's an easy punch art card I made with some of my SU punches. The skunk is made using the Build a Blossom punch. The flowers are made with the Boho Blossoms and Itty Bitty shapes punches. I made this flower pot with the petal cone die. Scroll down for a diagram and details.
I used a portion of the petal cone punch to make the flower pot. You can cut 6 from an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of card stock.
To get the round shape at the bottom, I used the semi circle piece I trimmed of the top as a template. I traced it on the bottom of the pot then cut it with a pair of scissors.
I top flap I folded down for the top of the pot and the two side flaps I folded to the back and used them to attach the pot to the card. When I glued my pot to the card I laid my bone folder underneath to use as a spacer so my pot would have some dimension.

I made this handing sewing kit using the largest flower folds die. The fabric is from Stampin’ Up’s Sew Suite line in the Occasions Mini. The miniature spools of thread are available in a variety of inexpensive sewing kits. You will also need some batting and chip board.
1. Cover the chip board with some coordinating card stock and cut out using the flower folds die.
2. Cut an extra piece of chip board the octogon shape from the centre of the flower. If you add some shims the embossing lines will do most of the cutting for you.
3. Cut the fabric slightly larger than the octogon, add some stuffing and make the pin cushin for the centre. If you need further instruction here's a video
4. Punch two holes in each flower petal, insert some ribbon and tie the spools of thread in place.
5. Tie a piece of ribbon through one of the holes to hang your sewing kit.

I used a wet sponging technique to make this seaside card. It’s for the Creative Crew Challenge on SCS. The shells and fish are made with the Build a Blossom punch and stamp set. The sentiment is from You’re a Gem.The clam shell embellishment opens to reveal a pearl inside. For more details scroll down to the bottom of the post to see the video tutorial.
If you don't like dealing with tiny pieces, here's a way to make punch art eyes. Punch some holes in a piece of Whisper White card stock and glue it to a piece of Basic Black as shown below. Give yourself enough space to punch larger circles around the outsides. Line up the black dots in a circle punch and punch out your eyes.
If you stick them onto a sheet of Big Shot Adhesive you can peel them off and add them directly to your project.

The first page contains a photo of the card and step by step instructions to make the card so you can print it out and post it for your customers to follow. I print mine out double sided and keep it in a binder sleeve until I'm ready to use it. The preparation for most of the cards takes less than 5 minutes and I leave the instructions at the card station for my customers to use.
