Penguin Valentine

I'm tired of turkey so I'm moving on to penguins. Or are they ducks? I'm trying to make penguins using only SU punches but I can't find a suitable beak punch. I used the 3 ovals, the large circle and tab punches. To make the face I used the small oval and punched out 2 overlapping shapes. I also used the Love You Much stamp set and the top note die.

Felicity's Star Card

This is a sample of Felicity's star card featured on Shelli's Blog. When folded it looks like a small card or tag but it opens up into an ornament. It's easy to make a great way to use up your DSP scraps.

Origami Wreath

I thought these origami wreaths were interesting. They look the same on both sides and have enough space in the middle to insert a photo or glass stone. You can use different size strips as long as the ratio stays the same.

Western Gift Card Holder

I made this giftcard holder from a very vanilla SU envelope and some designer series paper. I also used some hemp, the star punches, word window punch, mat pack, Night of Navy ink pad, marker and sponges.

I sponged colour on the envelope first then punched the shapes through both layers. Insert a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" piece of DPS or card stock. Put a little bit of glue or snail beside the area where your gift card will go to keep everything from shifting around. Seal your envelope. Your shapes show on the back as well so you can decorate it with "hand stamped" or " to and from".
