WhooHoo!!! I entered this card and won in the February Workshop Wow (Can) category. I can't wait to get my copy of Stampin' Success! I'll be stalking my PO Box for the next couple of weeks.
Here are the details: The tree was made using the large sizzix snowflake die. I taped small pieces of scotch tape to the back then scrunched the pieces into the glitter to get good coverage. I attached the pieces to my card with dimentionals but it doesn't show well in the scan.
I stamped snowflakes on the background using versamark, embossed with clear embossing powder After moving the paper and repeating this process a few times I highlighted the edges of the drifts with a bashful blue marker.
Amy, you are the Queen of pins I remember from a waazay back! As are all your projects, this one is just gorgeous! I love the way you thought to shape the bells and leaves that just makes it into an art piece rather than a 2-dimensional paper craft! Thank you, too, for your fabulous instructions for free! Much appreciated!Chris in Calgary, AB Canada[] Reply:November 16th, 2010 at 5:46 pmYou are too sweet, Chris! Thanks for taking a moment to leave feedback have you tried making a pin?[]
