If I don’t have a stamp for an occasion, I usually turn to punch art. The Medallion stamp was embossed on Whisper White then colored with markers. I used the Modern Label Punch to make the cross.
Stamps: Medallion, Well Scripted
Colours: Whisper White, Pale Plum, Perfect Plum. Brushed Silver
Accessories, Modern Label, Wide Oval, ¾” Circle Punches, Clear & Silver ep, Rhinestone Brad, White Taffeta ribbon.
Several people asked me how I stamped the cross. I cheated. Stamp the medallion on the Background first. Lay the labels across the centre of the medallion to stamp them. Make one longer for the bottom, a short one for the top and two the same for the sides (or use one label and cut it apart) . Cut them off at the centre and hide the raw edges under the circle. It's easier than it looks.
Now that's using what you have in a spectacular way! I how the image of the medallion kind of fades off in the background. Very ethereal. Fabulous use of the modern label punches too!
