I was looking for a stamp that would make a good ornament top and thought the pot for the Christmas tree would do the job. For this card I used the Contemo Christmas stamp set and the Color Coach to choose the color combination; Pear Pizzaz, Tempting Tuquoise, Rich Razzleberry. The trees and sentiment were stamped in VersaMark and embossed with silver ep. The ornaments masked and sponged using the 1-3/4" Circle Punch

This is an old favourite I’m planning to recycle this year. We made these foam window ornaments about 3 years ago and mine’s been hanging on my window ever since. I wanted to see how it would hold up in the sun and if the adhesive would stop sticking but it looks just as good as when I first made it. The large snowflake is cut from white craft foam using the Snowflake #2 die. The small snowflake in the centre is cut from blue craft foam using the Snowflake Sizzlets. We embellished the snowflakes with brads, rhinestones, pearls and glitter then turned them over and added a drop of Tombow Multi Adhesive to the tip of each snowflake. After letting the adhesive dry completely (I left mine overnight) it’s ready to hang on your window.

I always thought the Teddy & Train stamp set would make a cute Christmas card. OK maybe that was just my excuse to buy more stamps but the bear in this set is adorable and the rattle is sized perfectly to use with the ½” circle punch.
The tree is from Lovely as a Tree and the sentiment is from Cardinal Christmas. The garland is the new silver tinsel from the Holiday mini. It’s on a wire so it was easy to loop it and pull it through holes I poked in the card.
Supplies: Stamps; Teddy & Train, Lovely as a Tree, Cardinal Christmas, Ink; Old Olive, Marina Mist, Black Stazon, Pear Pizzazz, Card stock; Whisper White, Marina Mist, Real Red, Old Olive, Accessories; Ribbon, ½” Circle Punch, Silver Tinsel, Stamping Sponges, markers
Here's another version with no cut work. I masked the teddy and tree trunk.

I finally had a few minutes to make a video. I squeezed in a few techniques: debossing, making self adhesive ribbon and using your punches where they weren't intended to go. This technique works well for one layer punched cards or sweet treat cards like the ones below. The sample card in the video shows how to cover the slit with ribbon and on the samples below I used card stock strips and DSP.

I think many of us have been doing the debossing technique for I while, only I didn't know it had a name or that it was a technique. I've just been using it to hide the stretch marks and other imperfections. So here's a birthday card using the debossing technique which is basically gluing card stock to your background and running it through your big shot with an embossing folder.
To punch the centre flower in the card I made a slice in the card front large enough to insert my punch then hid the slice with ribbon. I backed the punched shapes with celery then glued white flowers to the front. After all the pieces were glued on I embossed the card with the lattice embossing folder. The flower centers are the gold smooch accent ink. To get the lovely water stain in the top right corner, leave your card laying on a wet diaper wipe overnight.

I think this is going to be my Christmas card this year. The garland is the wreath from the Welcome Christmas stamp set (I love that set). I punched some holes in it with the 1/16” hole punch and backed it with some Real Red card stock to look like berries. The fireplace is textured with the square lattice embossing folder and the fire is made with the two-step bird punch and word window. You can find the cheat sheet here Campfire
The mantle: I've had several inquiries about the mantle. I cut a piece of soft suede 3/4" wide and a little longer than the card.trimmed the edges at an angle and glued it to the top of the card (that's the lower piece). The top piece is about 1/4" wide and I rounded the edges and stuck it on with some half dimensionals or use the strip at the edge of the sheet. I added some suede ink with a blender pen to create a shadow.
The bows: I used Cherry Cobbler seem binding, twisted it and stuck it on with a glue dot. I tried making real bows but they looked too large.

Here's a simple punch art get well card. The pocket is made from the large tag punch. I punched a small hole behind the pocket so I could insert the sucker. The stethoscope is made from the wide oval, 1/2" Circle and heart punches. To make the neckline, I cut a "V" and glued a strip of card stock along the opening. The card stock is Baja Breeze and Whisper White.
