I've had my Simply Adorned locket for a while now so I thought it was time I should put something in it. I love the locket but just can't seem to get past the huge chain. My kids call it my Homey G chain and tell me I should hang a 4" peace sign off the end.

I wove some Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon every couple of links. It completely girlies up the chain.
I have found what KatheD says to be true. With the baubles and bows it goes from Homey G to Lovely Femme Fab. Now with Fall here, I love how it layers with my fall turtlenecks and sweaters.
{giggling} It took me a while to get used to the big chain, too, but I wear it frequently now, and it is a pretty current trend in jewelry. It really balances the charms pretty well; they'd look too big on a smaller chain. Maybe try adding one of our baubles or some little bows tied of narrow ribbon to soften it a bit.
