Addicted to Stamping

Best Dad Ever

I couldn't remember the name of the stamp set but as usual what I'm looking for is right under my nose. The stamp set is called Best Dad Ever and it's in the 2011 Summer Mini. The paper is the Poppy Parade DSP from the hostess pack and the bears were made with the circle, oval and word window punches. I stamped the ties on Whisper White card stock with Not Quite Navy ink and cut them out. The little bears tie is glued at the top and accordian folded at the bottom so it hangs in a pile at the bottom of the card.

Reinker Roses

Here's an old technique used with a new Flower Fest stamp set from the Summer Mini. The technique is called Reinker Float. I found the Video Tutorial for this technique in the SUDSOL Creative Library.

This card uses the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch on all 3 settings. The Beyond the Garden DSP makes this card quick and easy.

Flower Garden

Only a couple more days until the SUDSOL blog tour.

Fishy Friends

This was going to be one of my cards for the SUDSOL Blog Tour on May 17th but I'm too excited to wait. I came up with some other ideas for the tour so I can share this one early. It didn't photograph very well but the fish bowl is vellum with the kitty hanging over the side. Doily Triple Layer

I tried weaving ribbon through the doily triple layer punched shapes. I used the 5/8" satin ribbon on this one. The bear is from the Teddy and Train stamp set (I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping it doesn't retire). The sentiment is from the hostess set Something to Celebrate from the occasions mini. 

Blossom Bouquet

Here's a card using the Blossoms Bouquet Triple Layer Punch. I punched blossoms from a 2-1/8" strip of Whisper White card stock to make a negative for the Celery flowers. I trimmed the Celery mat to a 1/2" frame so the Bashful Blue would show through. I took the centers out of some blue rhinestones to use on the flowers. The ribbon is Marina Mist Taffeta.
