This is one of the scrapbook pages I made for the 2011 Artisan Award contest. This was my first chance to play with the baker's twine. It looped like that on its own so I just added my tags and left the loops where they were.
I made the ship in 3 separate pieces. I cut the neck of the bottle from a window sheet, sponged around the edges with White Stazon and attached it to the page with Big Shot Adhesive so it wouldn't show. The ship was stamped on white card stock and cut out around the top. For the bottle, I made a tube and rounded the edges with the corner rounder punch. The seam is hiding under the card stock. I left the top puffed up a little to give it a 3D effect.
Stamps: The Open Sea
Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Nautical Expedition DSP
Accessories: Window Sheets, Jumbo Eyelets, Bakers Twine, Circle and Tag Punches, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Vintage Trinkets
Love your page, especially the ship ib the bottle!

Wonderful page! I love the bottle and the way you added the line of tags with the twine. And the paper and dsp is so perfect for a nautical page. Great project. :)
