I thought I'd post a couple of the swap cards I made for convention. Both were quick and easy. All you need is a big shot and some great relatives. Here's a pic taken at my family reunion the weekend before convention. From the left...My Aunt Veronique, Aunt Helen, Mom, Cousin Barb and Dad running the big shot (He also does all my punching for me).
We moved the show indoors when some of my mechanically inclined cousins started discussing how they could motorize my big shot. Tool Time here we come.
The cones were cut out of Crumb Cake using the Petal Cone die then texturized with teh latice embossing folder. I cut off the round part on one of the flaps and left about a 1/4" to make the lip on the cone. the ice cream is double punched using the 2-1/2" Circle and Scallop circle punches. The bottom scoop is from the Petal Cone die as well.
I tried a few versions of this mirror card but settled on this one because it was easy to mass produce. I cut 2 circles using the clear circle die from a variety of colors and One circle from white using the 3" Circle die. To make the handle I double cut using the Top Note.
If making this card for a class I would use foil and a window sheet to make it look more like a mirror
Hello from Turkey( Turkiye),Here there is a real trouble on tehaicng English at schools. The educational system is unsuccessful. Although we are techers of English, many of us do not really have a command of English. Some of us have been to abroad, so their Eglish is more fluent. Also there are handicaps, especially financial, at schools. At the end of their approximately a 10-year of English education, almost all students cannot speak English.I want to learn how to teach English efficiently at school with limited conditions. Could you please help me about this? Also i want to ask how you had chosen those tesol teachers for the Convention? Which qualifications must one have to be choosen?
