That's what my daughter used to say when she rode the hobby horse I made her. He's been the inspiration behind a few of my latest projects. Here's one of them....a hobby horse made from the Stocking Die and the 1" cello bags. I cut out 3 stockings to make this card. I used 1 stocking to hide all the yucky stuff like the raw ribbon ends and the backs of my brads.
To make the mane I taped loops of ribbon between the two stockings then snipped the loops so they would be uneven and jagged.
I scored the 3rd stocking across the top and attached the card front above the score line so the card would open.
The stick is made from a 1" strip of card stock. I folded the bottom up and punched a couple of holes in the top and bottom to tie on the cello bag so it could be removed easily.
I incorporated the get well tag for the So Shelli Thinking of you Challenge and the SUO New Stamp Set Challenge
And here's a picture of my son's hobby horse. He's 14 now but still not ready to part with it. BTW he's made from a new sock not one DH wore otherwise I'm sure it would have been considered child abuse. I made a ton of these for craft shows over the years. One lady used to order them and ride them into the baby showers she attended.
How cute is this? Very creative, Jackie! Thanks for playing SUO Challenges.

Love the way you make this whole project, but particularly how use used the "It's a Wrap" NOT as a wrap! The hobby horse, though, has been amazing to see. Thanks for joining the SUO Challenge!
