I had planned to post this card today. The tree is made using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch. I also used the modern label for the tree trunk and the jewelry tag punch for the fence. The sentiment is from Word Play. Then came the science experiment. I was reading a thread on SCS about applying glitter to 3D objects and wondered if spray sealer would work. I don't really like using the spray adhesive because it's so sticky.
I sprayed my card with acrylic sealer (available in most craft or hardware stores) It’s gives you the look of versamark with iridescent ice but no warping, way quicker and you can use it for 3D projects.
I should’ve taken an in between shot. The first time I sprayed, it dried quickly so only a tiny bit of glitter stuck which suited this card more. The second coat gave me complete coverage. I’m guessing once the card stock was sealed it didn’t soak in and dry as fast. I shook off the excess glitter then sprayed it with two more coats to seal it. On this sample the glitter makes it look like a snow storm but this would be a pretty technique on a more suitable card.
I thank thee that I am none of the wheels of power but I am one with the living creatures that are crushed by it.

Well XMAS is around the corner. I love your work! I am not as good as you. I thought I would share something that I found on a website. It is so cute.
I found the cutest collections of birdhouses. This one is one of my favorites! http://www.youruniquehousedecor.com/FREESTANDING-VICTORIAN-BIRDHOUSE_p_1053.html It is under $20.00! Donna

I love the way you visualize things, like fenceposts from jewelry tags...and then share them with us! And I appreciate knowing of your investigations. I don't like spray adhesive either! It's good to know this is an alternate method of adhering glitter. TFS

Maybe using a masking technique you could have less glitter on the sentiment and more control on the other elements on the card. Love how you showed us the real result instead of one that you had worked on through several versions to get it "just right" before sharing. Helps us know that you also struggle to get exactly the result you want. So many of your creations are so perfect that it's good to see you have hummmmm cards just like the rest of us. Thanks for all the ideas and tips you share with us.
