I made this card to show the difference in size in the Sizzix letter dies that Stampin' Up carries or did carry. The tangerine letters were cut with the Serif Essentials Alphabet, the Daffodil letters were cut with the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet sizzlits and the Turquoise letters were cut with the new Typeset Alphabet Bigz dies that can be found in the 2012-2013 Stampin' Up Catalogue. I used the scraps of card stock to make the multi colored card base then glued my black layer on top. Here's a pic.
What a fun, bold card! Great way to use the alpha dies and to create bkgrd paper from scraps! Since I layer papers on almost every one of the cards I make, this technique will be grand. In fact, I was just saying to myself the other day ... 'I really should throw away all these little scraps of dp,' but now I'm glad I didn't. Hee! TFS your card and dp tip. :)

Love your colorful border! What an excellent idea! Another "Why didn't I think of that!" moment. Thanks for all that you share!

Good idea, Jackie. I'm bummed that Timeless Type has been retired. It is so expensive to replace those sets. I will keep mine and continue to use them.

Thanks for posting this comparison. My new Typeset Alphabet dies are on their way! I had the other 2 that retired but will keep them.
