Since many of us are stocking up on card stock during Sale-a-Bration I thought I'd share how I store mine. I have a rolling cart with hanging file folders; one file folder for each color and I organize it by color family. My cart is in storage until we move so I have my hanging files in card board file boxes at the moment
I punched out a tab of card stock and glued it to the top of the folder so I can see which color card stock is in the folder without looking inside.
I store my unopened packages in a rubbermaid tote so the sunlight doesn't get at it and put a paperclip on the file folder so I know which colors I have in storage.
As you can see in the photo I have 3 extra packs of Real Red and 1 Rich Razzleberry.
I've stored my cs this way for a few years now and it's been working great. It's very user friendly and it's easy to keep track of inventory. Now...if only stamp storage was this easy.
Thanks for sharing, always nice to see what others do for paper storage!

Love the paperclip for over flow of cs. I store Mine in an oak filing cabinet and I can also use the top for other items like the paper cutters, and the Big Shot and Boutique. Love to be able to keep it all together. Thanks for the tip of the clip!!

I love your idea. i keep my scraps of card stock like this. Large enough ones that I can use for the Big shot for my cricut. My larger pieces are keep in a plastic box that is big enough for them. I also have an open cupboard with metal holders for my packages of cardstock that I still haven't used. Love your idea of the paper clips. I never thought of that. I also am looking for a way to put tabs on the folders so I don't have to open each file. I want something to fit on the top of the file.

I found someone on Ebay that made the hanging folder tabs in the color of the paper for my files. Makes a HUGE difference in my filing! Super handy when I have a bunch of scrap pieces to put away and I'm sure which color is which. I think I paid about $6.00 for all the current colors, in colors, retired colors and more!
