Simply Be Merry

I wanted to post one more tag sample made with the Be Merry single stamp. When I read that the stamp coordinates with the Chalk Talk framelit I pictured it cutting around the outter line of the stamped image but it doesn't. It cuts inside which actually makes more sense otherwise part of the outline would be cut off by the opening at the top of the tag.

A few people saw adding mats to these tags as "trying to make it work" so I just wanted to clarify. I didn't have to make it work...it worked. I added mats because I like them. The right color can really make your project pop but it is an extra step so here's a simple tag with no extra cutting.

I stamped Be Merry in versamark, embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder, cut it out with the chalk talk framelit, sponged around the edges with Soft Suede and added some Garden Green to the leaves with a marker. This tag took me about 3 minutes to make start to finish. Very simple.
