Artisan Label Punch

Don't you just love the punches that have coordinating stamp sets? It's wonderful for those of us who are scissor-impared. I used a couple of the stamps from the Label Love stamp set and the coordinating Artisan Label and Small Heart Punch to make this wedding card.

I folded one of the Tea Lace Paper Doilies to fit behind the Artisan Label for the dress. Three of the medium sized pearls were used on the bodice and three of the smallest were colored with a black sharpie and used on the tux shirt. Make a snip in the top of the Label and fold down the edges to form the collar of the shirt.

Swinging Pennant Banner

I like cards that have a little something special so adding a banner that swings freely is an easy way to add some movement to your card. I punch out little labels and fold them over a piece of Baker's Twine so I have something to attach my banners to. You can glue them a little higher if you don't want your labels to show. I usually hide the ends of the twine behind a punched element but since my string was long I tucked one of the ends behind the insert to save some space. Punch Art Baby Bottles

I saw a thread recently where someone asked for ideas for baby cards preferably with baby bottles. After playing with my punches a little I came up with 2 that I thought looked pretty close. One is approximately 2" high and made with the Ticket Builder and Mosaic punches. The large one is 4" and made with the Christmas Ornament and Extra Large Oval punches. Both bottles are simple to make and all of the punches I used are currently available through Stampin' Up. I've included a cheat sheet at the bottom of this post.

Punch Art Violets

This card was inspired by Nancy who left a comment on my punch art daffodil card asking if I knew how to make a violet. I googled images of violets and this is the closest I could get using current Stampin' Up punches. I used the Petite Petals punch for the flowers, the Itty Bitty punch pack flower (crumbled in a ball) for the centre and the Bird Builder punch for the leaves and stem.

I owe a great big thank you to Debbi Rippentrop. I’m sure many of you have noticed my new blog look…well that’s thanks to Debbi. Didn’t she do an awesome job?
