I like cards that have a little something special so adding a banner that swings freely is an easy way to add some movement to your card. I punch out little labels and fold them over a piece of Baker's Twine so I have something to attach my banners to. You can glue them a little higher if you don't want your labels to show. I usually hide the ends of the twine behind a punched element but since my string was long I tucked one of the ends behind the insert to save some space. Scroll down if you want to see what the banner looked like behind the scenes
Love the idea! When I first saw your tutorial photo, I thought of punching the label shapes out of washi tape and using them over the banners to attach them. I wonder if it would work?

Fabulous idea Jackie. One of those "now why have I never thought of that before" kind of ideas. So simple and adds so much. Thanks for sharing the details in a quick and easy to understand format. Love it! Now the tough decision...which of my Pinterest boards to add this to!

This is wonderful! Thank you for showing me the tabs to hang the banners on. I just put a small banner on a scrapbook page and used glue dots to adhere - don't know how long they might stay. This I will have to try this instead!

Wow...great idea to string the banners on the inside...and thank you for the tip of gluing a small something to hang the banners from....let alone hiding the ends. I sort of curled mine, which were pretty short but had the fold line the way I cut the twine. Wonderful colors and design!

I love banner crafts! They are so cute on about anything. Cards, cakes, mantels. Thanks!
