Oh My Gosh! I saw the prettiest flower box cards yesterday on Pinterest made by Loll Thompson. I didn't have the die she used for the flower box or the stamps so I made a Stampin' Up version. I don't currently have a stamp set with tiny folliage but I'll be watching for one when the new catty comes out this spring so I can make more of these cards. I used the Papaya Collage stamp set for the folliage. To make the flowers look 3D I punched them out of colored card stock using punches from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack, drew some lines in the centre with a darker shade marker, laid the flowers on a piercing mat and pressed the centres with a scoring tool. Once the flowers were glued into place I added some dots to the centre with a White Gel Pen.
For the first flower box on the first card I cut a 1"x 3" and 4-1/4" x 1/2" pieces of card stock. I rounded the corners of the narrower strip with the corner rounder. For the rustic flower box I cut a 3-1/2"x 1-1/2" piece of card stock and angled the ends with a pair of scissors.
Absolutely gorgeous cards!
