I got an order for some pet sympathy cards...something I've never made before. I didn't have any suitable stamps so I used some retired heart dies and punches. For the bones I used a 1/2" strip of card stock and glued a heart to each end. The heart stamp is from Stampin' Up's A Good Man Stamp Set. I still had the scraps of rubber cling from the set so I cut the paw print pieces from the scraps and mounted them on one of my small clear blocks.

I broke out a few stamp sets for this card. The small flowers and stems are from Path of Petals. The large flowers are from the To a Wild Rose stamp set and the sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp sets. The flowers were stamped with Crumb Cake Ink and coloured with Watercolor Pencils.

I'm sure you've been seeing cards using the Blossoms in Bloom bundle everywhere. Not surprising. The bundle includes a stamp set, an outline die and a partial outline die so they can be used all together or each of them on their own. On this card I used the partial outline die cut out of vellum and coloured with Stampin' Blends (Hyland Heather, Lovely Lipstick , Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight).

Does anyone remember these Holiday Shaker Card Kits? I still had some pieces left over so I tried them with the new Game On stamp set hoping it wouldn't look too Christmassy. I fussy cut some of the dice, glued some in place and left some loose. The stars are from the kit as well but any sequins would do.
